Job opening: Marketing Specialist

mOOvement is an innovative ag tech start-up that developed the next generation easy-to-use AgTech sensor for farmers to manage their cattle more efficiently by offering actionable insights and alerts through long range GPS tracking. We use IoT technology to create a world where food is produced in a smart, productive, and sustainable manner. We started mid 2020 with offering our product in Australia and we are currently expanding to American and African markets.


mOOvement has a small but dynamic team of around 10 professionals but growing quickly. We are looking for a marketing specialist that knows everything around digital and offline marketing and is hands-on.


In this role you will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of marketing of mOOvement. The main focus will be on Australia, but you will also be responsible for content globally. You need to be based in Australia for this role, ideally in Brisbane and English is your native language.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the marketing of the company, including the strategy
  • Manage all digital channels (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram and industry forums and sites)
  • Maintain all metrics and be able to steer on it
  • Set up the marketing campaigns and adjust based on metrics
  • Be responsible for our brand’s image
  • Make sure all lead generation filters are included into the CRM system
  • Able to make content
  • Responsible for lead generation in Australia and globally
  • Contact person for different (media) outlets
  • Maintain our SEO ranking and optimise
  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers


Key Competencies

  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
  • Hands on and result driven
  • Be resourceful to generate leads
  • Know how to use CRM systems, such as Pipedrive
  • Experience in the agricultural (cattle) industry is a bonus
  • Skills to market the main website
  • Native English
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
